Bagaimana seseorang bisa sangat berarti bagi satu orang, tapi bisa nggak berarti apapun bagi orang yang lainnya? I mean, look at someone who means the world for someone, tapi buat orang lain mungkin dia nggak berarti sama sekali.

Lucu rasanya bagaimana ngeliat seseorang yang udah aku anggap seperti dunia dan rumahku sendiri, tapi bagi orang lain mungkin dia nggak berarti. Vice versa, bagaimana seseorang yang mungkin bagi orang lain dia adalah segala-galanya, tapi buatku, yah...... mungkin dia cuma sebatas kenalan aja.

Seseorang bisa amat sangat berarti dan bisa amat sangat nggak berarti di waktu yang bersamaan, weird, huh?

I found this quote when i scrolled my instagram timeline. It's sounds cliche but turns out it's feels so true. Kita semua sebenernya bukan apa-apa, bukan siapa-siapa. Gimanapun kita ngerasa kalo diri kita hebat, pintar, cantik, atau sebagainya, pasti selalu ada seseorang yang melebihi kita. Kita itu amat sangat kecil, bahkan bisa dibilang kalo kita ini cuma debu di alam semesta, jadi lagu 'Butiran Debu' yang dulu sempet hits itu ada benernya juga.

Selain diri kita yang sebenarnya adalah debu semesta, begitu juga dengan masalah yang kita hadapi. Semua orang ―khususnya aku― selalu ngerasa kalo masalah yang lagi dihadapi itu adalah masalah terbesar tersulit yang bikin down, bikin sedih, dan lain-lain. Padahal, kalo kita bisa sedikit aja ngebuka mata kita buat ngeliat hal-hal sekitar, nyempetin bentar aja ngebuka telinga kita buat dengerin kisah orang-orang, kita bakal sadar, kalo masalah kita ini sebenernya nggak ada apa-apanya, sebenernya cuma segede debu, atau bahkan lebih kecil dari debu.

Masalah kita ini cepat atau lambat bakal getting better dengan sendirinya, kunci terpenting saat ngadepin masalah itu, menurutku, adalah dengan mengatur perspektif diri kita sendiri terhadap masalah yang lagi dihadapi, terhadap hal-hal sekitar kita juga. Coba aja kalo kita bisa memandang masalah kita ini dari sudut positifnya, nggak melulu ngeliatnya sebagai sesuatu yang negatif, juga kalo kita selalu mikir positif tentang hal-hal yang bakal terjadi kedepannya, tanpa kita sadari tindakan kita juga bakal selalu positif dan berujung dengan terselesaikannya masalah dengan positif.

Kalo boleh jujur, aku nulis ini buat jadi reminder dan buat ngehibur diri sendiri yang selalu negatif thinking tentang apapun yang aku hadapi, padahal udah punya tekad yang kuat buat ngilangin kebiasaan jelek itu, tapi nggak tau kenapa, belum berhasil juga sampe sekarang.
